This heavenly bread pudding, crafted by my talented chef/husband, is a symphony of flavors and textures. Simply drizzle, mix, bake, and indulge with vanilla ice cream. For extra flair, mix up the bread types or add chocolate chips!
Spread the bread pieces on a pie pan. Drizzle ghee over it and add walnuts to it and mix gently.
Whisk eggs in a bowl. Mix the remaining ingredients – heavy cream, milk, sugar, vanilla, ground cinnamon to the eggs and pour this mixture over the bread pieces. Mix gently and soak for a minute.
Bake in the oven for 45 minutes till the top part turns nice and brown.
Serve hot with a dollop or two of Vanilla ice cream (or Vanilla sauce) while watching your favorite movie.
Tips
Mix up the bread – part grainy, part white, maybe even a croissant.
If you are a chocolatey person like me, add half handful of semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Replace white bread with Brioche for a richer taste.
