Ingredients
  

  • 15 slices White Bread cut into small squares
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1 Red onion thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup Coriander (Cilantro) Leaves
  • Salt to taste

Seasoning

  • 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1 1/2 tsp Urad Dhal
  • 1 sprig Curry Leaves

Wet Masala

  • 1 Onion (small) roughly chopped
  • 2 Vine Tomatoes roughly chopped
  • 6 cloves Garlic
  • 5 Dried Red Chilies dry roasted
  • Grind all the above to a coarse paste. Do not add water.

Instructions
 

Now, lets cook!

  • Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan, add the bread pieces and fry for some time till it turns light brown. Keep it aside.
  • When it cools down, mix the wet masala with the fried bread pieces.
  • Heat 1 tbsp oil. Season with the ingredients under seasoning.
  • Then add the chopped onions, fry till golden and then add the bread, salt and keep sautéing till nice and brown in medium flame.
  • Add a handful of chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.

Tip

  • Add a tsp of ghee at the end and mix well for a good aroma and flavor.
