Coarsely dry grind rice and dhal together. It should NOT be fine like rava. This is the 'upma flour'

Instructions
Heat oil in a pan, add ingredients under seasoning one at a time and saute till the dhals turn light brown.
Add water and salt.
When the water starts boiling, reduce the flame to medium and add the upma flour slowly while mixing it using a whisk. This prevents forming lumps.
Once it is mixed well, lower the flame and cover it with a lid. Let it cook for about 10 minutes or until cooked.
Tips
Do not add any veggies to this and make it like rava upma. This is one very easy recipe and tastes good as is. Quick tiffin to make, when you have surprise guests.
